Hancock Park is a historic and affluent exclusive neighborhood in Los Angeles. Located within Central Los Angeles, Hancock Park in located south of Melrose Avenue and north of Wilshire Boulevard. Hancock Park was developed in the 1920’s by the Hancock family with profits earned from oil drilling. The exclusive community is home to some of the most notable business, entertainment, political professionals in the world. The area can be divided into three communities







Hancock Park – The tree-lined streets border by Melrose Avenue to the north, Wilshire Boulevard to the south, La Brea Avenue to the west and Van Ness to east. Featuring many historic family estates is just a stones throw away from the city, keeping it centrally located yet far enough away to escape the commotion of the city.
Windsor Square – Nestled between Wilshire Boulevard and Beverly Boulevard, and Arden Boulevard to Van Ness Avenue lies one of the most historic and well preserved neighborhoods in Los Angeles. English influence is prominent in this garden oasis in the heart of Los Angeles
Larchmont Village – Functioning as the “main street” to Windsor Square the area is the west coast embodied meant of Larchmont NY, after which it is named. The lively heart of Hancock Park featuring fine dining, shop, and a quaint small town feel.

Windsor Square is often mistakenly called ‘Hancock Park,’ even by long-time residents. But in fact, Hancok Park is immediately to the west. Windsor Square’s homes have the same historic value as in Hancock Park, but most of the homes are built on bigger lots. With 1,100 homes, and it is one of the oldest, most well preserved neighborhoods in Los Angeles. It has broad lawns, mature trees and central location five miles west of downtown and is a garden oasis in the heart of Los Angeles.
